Our Sunday morning services begin with a couple of songs and a welcome. Then we share our gratitude and needs before reading from the Bible. We will then listen to a message on the Bible (about 20 minutes) followed each week by communion. Communion is an opportunity to express your faith in Jesus, and everyone who trusts Jesus is invited to share in it, no matter what church they are a part of. However, there is no pressure for everyone to join in. You can simply use it as a time of silent reflection. We finish our time with songs of praise and a prayer to send us out into the world. We are a diverse congregation so our worship and preaching styles will vary. Some weeks we will sing hymns, praise songs or gospel music, depending on who is leading.

We aim to start our services at the advertised time, but you might like to arrive a bit earlier to find a car park (this can be tricky!). Coffee and tea are available before the service, so feel free to come a little early. Greeters will answer any questions you have and introduce you to our children’s ministry if you need to check your kids in.

Bring your kids to the kids’ sign-in table on the patio before the service. We begin our time together in the chapel for a time of ‘Music and Movement.’ We then divide the children into two groups based on their age. Children 3 – 5 years old go into the Ark Room while the children 6 years old through 5th grade go downstairs to the Fruitvale Room. In their classrooms, they will experience an interactive Bible story and hands-on activities using the ‘Godly Play’ curriculum. Near the end of the service, parents collect their children so they can join the rest of the church in the sanctuary for communion.

We want you to feel comfortable joining us for a weekend service. Please just come as you are – the church is about the people you’re with, not the clothes you’re wearing.

By Car - There is no onsite parking, but there is parking available in the Loard’s Ice Cream parking lot on the other side of Coolidge Ave. Street parking is available.

Our AM service runs about one hour and fifteen minutes. You are also welcome to join us for coffee, tea and snacks before and after.

Absolutely! Our doors are open to everyone, as we believe that the good news of Jesus is for everyone. We believe that there is a need for a big ‘back pew’ where you can come and listen without having to agree with everything or sign up for anything.

Not only are you welcome, but you are celebrated! We believe folks of all sexual and gender identities are created in God's image. Therefore at our church you will not only find people of the LGBTQIA community in our pews, but serving as leaders as well.

Our sanctuary has wheelchair access, although our fellowship hall at Fruitvale is not presently accessible.
